The Idea: Today, lets be kind to our own selves, by being present to the gifts of each moment. The simple, daily act of eating can be a powerful time to practice being in the present moment. Today, experiment with eating slowly and mindfully. Bring your awareness to the sight, fragrance and different flavors of the food that you eat. Reflect on the seen and unseen hands that contributed to bringing this meal to your table. Savor each and every bite. What do you notice? It really moved us deeply when we heard about Arjun, one of the participants of Change Festival who has difficulty in reading is not only understanding each act but also sincerely engaging in each act of kindness every day. Her friend and mentor Divya, call him in the morning and explains him the act for the day and he with full enthusiasm does it and calls Divya at night to share his experience.

    We are waiting to hear from Divya about Arjun's experience and her own. :)
