Shall we talk of pain

That devours the weak

And strong

Shall we speak of the World

And everything that’s wrong?

Or shall we talk of wonder

Fragrance of fresh oranges

The racing of the heart

When something demands to be written

The curiosity

When we notice 

A singing soul

In the corner of a room buzzing with harmonies.

Shall we talk of the sea, 

That you and I fathom with the same eyes

The gold on the sand

That poets see

Or the sun and the moon 

That Greet us at different times

Shall we talk of love

That pained us when it made us

Or shall we talk of the songs

That sung us to sleep

When nights drove us insane

Shall we talk of home?

The one that has stairs

That go up and down

That let go

And invite

If you were in the middle

Which way would you choose?

Shall we ask this?
