Thank you for being together at Youth Alliance

Contributor: Youth Alliance

We wanted to express our deep gratitude for making Alumni Meet and 5-year celebration possible. The place was again Gandhi Ashram that had its own vibe. The whole phenomenon indicated that how so many energies and efforts from so many people have come together to make Youth Alliance possible. 5 years of Youth Alliance are full of such stories of so many gifts of people coming together to create something beautiful.

Whether Mohit getting up early and cleaning the washroom; Or Vineet worked so hard to build a movie of 5 year's journey; Anaswaraperformed with so much energy and so many more instances how each one took ownership and supported each other during the time. It also meant so much to us that Ravi Bhaiya and Anshu Bhaiya spent so much time with us - is so empowering and confining for us. Geetanjali Didi, Pratyush Bhai, and Tarun Bhaiya came in and enriched the space. And Pramath Sir bringing in his unique perspectives of creating institutions for quality education.

"We are together learning how the invisible and subtle forces of love & trust become visible in so many diverse forms. We also are together learning what YA means to us. And our actions create it every moment. It came out poignantly during the meet."
Brijesh reflecting what he shared with Prakhar Bhaiya about his 10 years' vision and 5 years have since passed and how he seeks to intensify his journey at this point; or how Tejal Didi shared how she feels at home, completely free and fearless at YA; Deepak saying he feels that he has mental support through YA; or Belen finding friends in India; or how Srishti finding a space that values relationships and listens; or Ravi Bhaiya sharing that he has more chance to find such people at YA who shall contribute meaningfully to the world.

"The Alumni Meet was part of the beginning to dialogue on how to strengthen the community at Youth Alliance."
It was very insightful to have World Cafe on the same. We will write to you separately about the insights and little steps that we are taking to give more strength to the individuals and the community of alumni.

And finally, the most awaited Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe came from Mumbai and musically made us dance with Kabir. We are grateful to them to have performed while most of their band members were unwell.
