Reflections on Gender

Contributor: Rachit Sharma

The Gender Boundaries. I always ponder that as human we love to be free souls but can never let off the boundaries. I studied Gender long ago, in class I while practicing Nouns. We differentiated professions, animals, relations and what not in the name of gender. But our gender classes had started before the school began.

It was both interesting and astonishing to know that an ability to produce a life can become an invisible bridle. Best part: You never know it as something called 'Classical Conditioning' is sown even before the inception of the term itself. Yes! I believe gender creates boundaries, it creates friction and hostility. Rapes are antagonism against the controlled lot.

SatyaShree mam was right in pointing that enigma prevails, with unanswered questions and unbelievable origins.  But the world has been surviving like this, it will work like this or may not! Marriage and love seems to lose their sanctity and meaning when one mull that it all started just to capture the womb. Hits Strong.
